Scaling up Content Operations with AI and automation

A fast-growing B2B marketing agency faced spikes in demand and were unable to hire enough copywriters. In addition, training freelancers on their bespoke processes left them over-stretched, at risk of losing valuable client work and in some cases missing important campaign deadlines.

The agency approached AI Catalyst Partners to explore the use of Agentic AI solutions that could be managed by the existing copywriting team to codify and scale up their content production and proofreading activities.

We partnered with the senior copywriter to understand how their content production processes worked from receipt of a client brief all the way to the final deliverables. The agency team had different types of client briefs from short-form demand generation campaigns to long-form whitepaper and report writing. The agency team’s processes relied heavily on several documents and templates that were created and shared by different SMEs including their clients. More importantly, all assets produced had to then be handed over to an activation team (sometimes within the clients’ organisations) who would deploy them accordingly.

AI Catalyst Partners developed a multi-client content production platform powered by AI agents and LLM APIs. The solution enabled the agency team to ingest client briefs, trigger industry research via LLM tooling, generate draft assets based on structured templates and store everything in client-specific vaults. A FinOps dashboard tracks usage and AI spend by client, while built-in conversational chatbot guides team members through each ABM, demand-gen or event campaign step.

The team had significantly scaled up their capacity once they developed their own templates libraries and started using it for more creative content projects.
